Appearance: Simple hollow mask covering half of face (right side), and a Hollow hole where her heart is (or should be). She has long crimson hair and gold eyes, usually sporting a cold expression. She’s very petite and graceful.
Combat Strength: Air based attacks (use of zanpakutou’s ablility- she can control the element of air/wind) speed, and swordplay
Combat Weaknesses: Fighting in enclosed areas, and physical combat
Mask Removal: Susurrando vientos, meaning, “whispering winds.”
Resurrection: Asphyxiate, vientos de la ilusión, meaning, “asphyxiate, winds of illusion.” During the release of her resurrection, Akane’s opponent is automatically transferred into an illusion, while their physical body becomes paralyzed, causing their breathing to become shallow and slow. The actual illusion their subconscious is transferred to varies from person to person, albeit it’s normally a paradise. In the illusion, one forgets everything: their memories replaced with those suitable of the illusion. In the illusion, the opponent will eventually meet up with a projection of Akane, and unless they defeat her, they will not be able to escape the illusion, and eventually die from loss of- you guessed it!- asphyxiation. Although, if they have a strong will, and are able to defeat the illusion, they are transferred back into the correct state of mind, and back to the fight with Akane. But by this time their body has undergone serious setbacks to their health, do to their previous paralyzed state. Akane’s release is kind of a last resort, and a gamble. If the illusion is unable to defeat the opponent, she must rely on her fighting skills after that, despite the hindrance it has caused the opponent. Although, she is currently attempting to develop a second level to her resurrection…
Bio: Akane is generally a shy and polite person around her superiors and others she’s not familiar with, but to those who don’t fit that category (for example, those whom she dislikes) she can be rather cynical and cold. For those whom she does like, she is very protective, warm, and can sometimes be very hyper. Although one might not be able to tell from looking at her, she loves to fight, but becomes very determined when the fight has to do with protecting someone she cares about. She doesn’t deal well with threats, and can sometimes become hotheaded if provoked.
